Tegan's eyes narrowed at her brother as he told her to tell him if she got in more 'feelings'. Why the hell wouldn't she tell him?! He knew that he was the only one she would tell. Tegan rolled her eyes a bit as she said "Whatever Jack." The burnette really didn't feel like putting up with much tonight. She was exhausted from her travels earlier that day.
Tegan's mind then wandered to school. Well obviously she had transferred to the school here since there was no way her mother, or Jack would let her not go to school for the year just because of some stupi little superstition she had, and will surely have again. Oh well, she'd have to live with it. Tegan was generally a quieter person, not liking to be the new girl who made friends left and right. She preffered to stay laid back and keep quiet; not draw attention.
She gave Dorothee a small, brief smile as she said that Tegan could stay with them. Tegan's chocolate coloured eyes then flicked over to Jack as he voiced his opinion. She tried to resist the urge to roll her eyes at him. Oh well, they'd be home soon. Tegan turned to the blonde and asked her "So how do you know my brother?" Tegan was curious to know, but her question also held a little bit of hostility in the manner in which she asked it.

" I was going to lease my horse to your brother. I had a bad riding accident, and since then I haven't rode, but I just couldn't bear to part with my dear Hugo, so i was to lease him, until your brother ere, talked me into getting back into the saddle....I also work for him" Dorothee said with a smile to Tegan . She looked to Jack with a laugh "and yeah, like he said I'm like his chauffeur." she teased, witha laugh.

Jack Aelyn Adelwolf Jack gave Tegan an odd look as she snapped the question at Dorothee. He knew Tegan wasn't really a people person, but she wasn't rude to people. Oh well, he would have to talk to her baout it in the morning.
Jack took out his phone for a glance of the time, adn to see if he had gotten any new messages. Once he was satisfied, he looked back up to Dorothee and his sister, and then to the sky, which had started to cloud up again. "we better get going." he mentioned. "I think another storms comin'."

"Oh." Tegan said lightly. "Sorry 'bout your ridin' accident." she told Dorothee quietly. She did feel bad, knowing full well what it was like to have a riding accident, and a tragic one at that, but that did not mean that she had to trust Dorothee one bit. From what Dorothee had told her, Tegan gathered that Jack still was running his pony business. Good for him, he always seemed ot be enjoying it.
Tegan looked back to the blonde when she said that she had been driving Jack around. Tegan smiled a bit and shook her head. "What'd he do to his truck this time?" she asked Dorothee in a stage whisper. "He always seems to have problems with it." she said with a smile. "Hey Jack, you really should get rid of that old piece of crap." she called over her should erto her brother who mentioned that it was goign to storm and that they should get out of there.

"oh i don't know...ask him" Dorothee said with a laugh. "I agree You should get rid of it." Dorothee nodded. She glanced at teh clouds. She was dissapointed about the weather, but a bit glad to start headed home since she was getting tired. " yeah...too bad about the weather" Dorothee said letting out a sigh and headed back towards her truck.

Jack Aelyn Adelwolf Jack shot his sister an angry glare, but it only took a few seconds before he cracked a smile. It was so nice to have her here, in Howe, with him. He had been so worried about her lately. Now he could keep an eye on her. Tegan was a trouable maker even though she seemed to be a pretty quiet girl. She had always been that way, and probably always will.
Now there was the issue of her staying with him. He had not planned to have anyone living with him for quite some time, obviously that was now changed. The extra bedroom in his apartment would have to be cleaned out since it was his storage area. That would mean that he would have to rent some storage space somewhere. Something he just did not want to do.
Tegan would then want to make the room her own. He had quickly decided that he would let her. It was better not to argue with her. After all, they would be under the same roof and he wanted to act more like a friend and brother to her rather than a legal gaurdian. Why did things have to be so complicated?
Jack was pulled out of his thoughts when he heard Dorothee say something about his truck. "Hey, that truck has never let me down. If you don't count all the tune-ups it constantly needs. But like I said, it's never let me down." Jack said, trying to defend his truck. Yes, he knew he needed a new one, and soon. The one he had now was a death trap on wheels.
Just as Dorothee had said, it was a shame about the weather. It would probably rain, hard, for the next few days, but God knew that they needed it. Everything had been so dry and dusty lately. The farmer's really needed it for their crops, and people weren't too happy with seeing browning grass all over the place.
Jack jogged forward a bit as the rain started to fall in slow, fat drops. "Well, if it's still raining tomorrow, maybe that would be a good day to go for a ride eh Dorothee?" he said in a semi serious manner. He was eager to see her get back on Hugo. That horse had suffered long enough without his girl.
He quickly got to Dorothee's truck and opened the driver side door for her before rushing around to the other door and sliding in, sitting in the middle so it would less awkward for his sister to sit next to someone she had just met.

Tegan just rolled her eyes at her brother's response. He had had the blasted thing for as long as she could remember, which was a pretty long time in her case. Next time it broke she would have to talk him into getting a new one. Tegan had always been very persausive. It especially worked on her brother.
Tegan was actually glad they were heading back to Jack's flat. It was late and she was tired. She had decided that she would crash on his couch for the night and work on 'her' room tomorrow. That way she could get Jack to help her and maybe give her some money to fix it up a bit. She almost laughed at the thought. Jack letting her borrow large sums of cash? Never.
She then remembered that he owned a stable here, so he wouldn't be home all day. Well that made it even easier, the whole house to herself. Maybe she would wander over to his farm and meet his horses and some of the people who rode there. She always felt better at meeting people places beside school.
Tegan's brown eyes drifted up to the sky as she felt her head getting wet. Rain. She sighed. Tegan had just come froma place with a bunch of rain and gloom. She did not want it to happen here as well. It almost seemed as if she was cursed with bad weather where ever she went.
The chocolate haired girl rolled her eyes a bit as Jack opened the door for Dorothee. He always had to be the romancer to every woman he met. Tegan was actually a bit shocked to see that he and Dorothee weren't some kind of 'thing' together. Everytime Tegan visited, or even talked to her brother, he seemed ot have a new girlfriend.
Tegan sat in the seat and shut the door, thankful that she was sitting where she was instead of in the middle. They would be home in no time though so she didn't have much to worry about. Tegan scooted closer to the window and propped her head on her hand as she attempted to ignore the other two people in the car with her.

" well, Hugo did used to love going riding in the rain, but I'm nost sure if that is a good Idea for now. But I'll defiantly work with him tomorrow....as well as work the stable. Got anything planned for tomorrow yet?" she asked. She started to laugh as it began raining again, knowing it would most likely clear soon. She read the place was a dry one in the summer, and usually only the first week and last see the rain.
"thanks" She said with a smile as Jack opened the door. She got in and waited for everyone to be in and buckled up before letting out the emergency break and stepping down onto the clutch, leaning down to where she couldn't see the road to shift as she backed out then headed towards their apartments.
She parks outside the apartments, accidentally killing the truck, she laughed. " I always seem to forget to put it in neutral before I take out the clutch" she laughed. She unlocked the doors, which was the one feature about the truck that she hated the most, the doors always locked on themselves whenever she was driving. She got out and waited until the passenger door was open to hit lock again.
